“Certainty? In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.” − Benjamin Franklin
How is your business doing?
Of course, the answer to this question involves money, the economy, your product or service, as well as your people and the many obligations you've made. Who do you talk to about all of this? Do you have a place where you can talk freely about your biggest dreams and your deepest fears?
I listen to you carefully and seriously, knowing it takes time to tell the story of a business and yet action is required now.
Running the Numbers: Your financial past, present and future
Through summarized financial statements, we consider your current financial position. We think about how it came to be, including crucial decisions in the past and the place of your profession, product, or service in today’s economy.
We also look to the future. Your alternatives can take number form, allowing us to forecast ahead and compare the effects of your choices. My training in psychology enhances these conversations. I listen carefully for what my clients are on the verge of saying. These statements are worth their weight in gold: inspirations, warnings, realizations and authentic guidance for the future.
Crisis and Transition Support: You’re not alone in your struggle
When the work that we love is at risk, it is personal and it is emotional. As both a good accountant and a good therapist, I offer a balance of fact-finding and time in honest dialogue to help you reach the best possible decision.
In spite of time pressure, we must assemble information, seek expertise, and decide with care. In the back and forth between hard numbers and more subtle factors, we find your best course of action.
As you know, the crisis will pass; circumstances will be different in a matter of weeks or months. I want you to look back knowing that you acted in line with your personal ethics and that the outcome preserved that which is most important to you.
